NIGERIA– Samsung Electronics West Africa has partnered with Cash ‘N’ Carry to expand its retail presence in Nigeria and offer customers easy access to its wide selection of consumer appliances and electronics.

The new partnership which is in line with Samsung’s nationwide market expansion drive in Nigeria will allow the electronics manufacturer to make its brand and services available in all Cash ‘N’ Carry stores across the country.

According to Samsung, the retail expansion drive is designed to enhance consumer experience and provide consumers with a thrilling avenue to interact with Samsung’s full range of solutions.

The partnership according to Samsung Electronics will give customers access to an extensive range of premium household appliances in one easily-accessible location.

According to Samsung, partnering with Cash ‘N’ Carry also creates a widespread destination where consumers can experience first-hand Samsung’s extensive product ecosystem and receive personalized service from trained sales consultants.

Managing Director, Samsung Electronics West Africa, Mr. Caden Chiyeon Yu, described the partnership as a testament to the strength of Samsung as a brand in Nigeria and the customer loyalty that the company has built over the years.

“At Samsung, our retail strategy is hugely influenced by our consumer-focused approach on providing captivating products and experiences that address consumer needs,” Yu said.

Yu further added that Samsung remains “committed to maintaining our strong leadership position by expanding our retail footprint and by providing unprecedented levels of service and education on all of our products”.

Also speaking at the launch, Rajeev Mehta, Manager, Cash ‘N’ Carry, Nigeria, said that the company is pleased to be partnering with Samsung.

“Cash ‘N’ Carry is one of Nigeria’s premier electronics and household appliances retailer with 8 showrooms spread through Lagos and Ibadan,” Rajeev Mehta stated

“We are very excited about this partnership as we continue to improve on the shopping experience of our customers.”

The move follows an earlier partnership between Samsung West Africa and MTN Ghana to present 500 Samsung Galaxy A2 Core Smartphones to support Government and the Ghana Health Services as they lead the fight against COVID -19 through enhanced Contact Tracing.

The Samsung phones came with 500 MTN sim cards and a total of 3,000GB data with MTN committing to load each phone with 500MB data every month for a period of 6 months.
