LIBERIA–, The International Bank (Liberia) Limited (IBLL) has in October this year inaugurated a new branch in the Freeport region of Bushrod Island, Liberia.

The bank in a statement said that it decided to open a new branch in the region in order to provide easy and affordable banking services to its many customers

Some of the services that the new branch is expected to offer customers to include domestic transfers to any bank in the country; wire transfer services to any bank in the world and MoneyGram and Western Union Services across the globe.

For over 50 years, IBLL has been providing quality banking services to the Liberian community.

Formerly known as International Trust Company (ITC), the bank opened its commercial banking department in 1960 to handle customers’ accounts, money transfers and provides credit facilities.

In 2000, the bank became a standalone commercial bank, adopting the name “International Bank (Liberia) Limited”.

Over the years, IB has provided excellent and unparalleled 1st class services to its customers and is committed to empowering Liberians and playing its role in the building of the nation.

The bank said in the statement that its goal was to become the bank of choice in Liberia, attractive to all customers regardless of whether they were Liberians of members of the resident business community.

The bank concluded its statement by saying that its goal was to become the bank of choice in Liberia, attractive to all customers regardless of whether they were Liberians of members of the resident business community.

IBLL services are available at over 20 locations across the country, including Pleebo, Harper, Kakata, and Harbel.

The bank also provides dual currency ATMs available at limited locations within its branch network, SMS Alerts, E-Alerts and Online Banking available to customers.
